This black Pittsburgh Penguins jersey was worn by "Sid the Kid" Sidney Crosby during the 2007-2008 NHL Season. The Candadian tag is on the inside neck with size "56" on it. Sidney's number "87" is on back and both sleeves in white tackle twill with black and vegas gold outline. On back sewn on black name plate is "CROSBY" in white tackle twill with black and vegas gold outline. Above Crosby's last name is the "REEBOK" patch. Sewn on the right sleeve is "PITTSBURGH 250" indicating the cities 250th Anniversary. Sewn on the left chest is the "C" indicating the captains patch. A Cutting Edge Sports label in the inner rear hem indicates "2007-2008" set #2 and a Certificate of Authenticity on Penguins letterhead and signed by equipment manager Dana Heinze will be included. The jersey shows good use with black puck marks on the right sleeve.
Crosby was drafted by the Penguins first over all out of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
